This policy explains how ChargerOnMap handles personal data when you use our website. We aim to process digital personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, when it applies.

If you use location features, your browser may ask for permission to share your device's approximate or precise location. We may also collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser/device information, pages visited and diagnostic logs necessary to operate and secure the service.
3. Why we use data
We use data to provide the map and requested features, respond to enquiries, maintain security, diagnose problems, improve the service and comply with legal obligations. We use device location only after your browser permission and only for the feature you request. You can withdraw location permission through your browser or device settings.
4. Sharing and third-party services
Map tiles, geocoding, routing, hosting and analytics may be provided by third parties. When you use those features, relevant technical data or location/search details may be sent to the applicable provider to deliver the feature. Third-party providers process data under their own policies. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described above, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements or meet legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, updating or erasure of personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. Email chargeronmap@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and sufficient details to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
7. Children and updates
The service is not intended for individuals who cannot lawfully provide consent under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal data without required consent, contact us. We may update this policy by posting the revised version here.
