Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S Battery Warranty: Rules and Conditions
Mahindra offers lifetime high-voltage battery coverage to eligible first registered private owners; a different time-and-distance limit applies after transfer.
Mahindra states that the high-voltage battery warranty for the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S is lifetime coverage for the first registered owner when the vehicle has a private registration. This is battery coverage, not a blanket lifetime warranty for every vehicle component.
If ownership changes, Mahindra says the high-voltage battery warranty becomes 10 years or 200,000 km, whichever occurs first, measured from the vehicle's first delivery date. Keep the original delivery and service records when buying or selling an EV.
Always read the Warranty & Service Guide supplied for the exact model and variant. It defines covered defects, battery-capacity assessment, exclusions and the service process. Ask an authorised Mahindra dealer for written clarification before relying on any sales statement.
